If you've been using Permatex Kopper Kote on head gaskets for years and never had any problems , keep on using it .
I got talked out of it and of course ,I now have a bubbly leaking head gasket .
Sigh .
I tossed in some Aluma-Seal as that's good stuff but it's still blowing tiny bubbles underneath the # 1 spark plug .
Good thing it runs cool as it's now my daily driver since the Mercedes engine I've been nursing along , failed last week .
I'm trying to figure out what else I need to do to it before yanking it apart again .
At least it's running very well .

Of course not and now it's too late .
I've done several of these and never needed to before , many hard miles and never had any leaks .
I kept thinking " I'll do it this weekend " but life got in my way . I didn't expect it to begin leaking .

Once again I neglected to re - torque the head and sure anough , it's weeping once again .
When will I ever learn ?

It ever so slowly uses coolant and the #'s 2 & 3 spark plugs are suspiciously clean , guess where it's leaking ? .
This 'B'Series 1500 C.C. engine has the upgraded dimpled studs , what is the maximum allowable torque I can use ? .
