Borg & Beck (Morris Minor) clutch

Post by Robb »

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a replacement clutch assembly for my Wolesley Hornet Special rebuild and was told that a good fit was the Borg and Beck assembly used on Morris Minor into the late 1950s or so. In searching the internet for information, I appears that there were three size engines with three size clutches. Does anybody know of a Minor specialist out there or a pile of parts that I can look through?

Thanks,
Robb

Jeeze ~ no relies at all ? :? .

You might try Darrin's MG Service in.... ? Chatsworth ? as he has piles o' parts , I've bought weird & random parts for my Metropolitan Nash there before ,you must know what it is you want though .

Jim Rickman Motors in Pasadena , is a clip joint but , he has scads of good parts , truck fulls of stuff .

(NOTE : JIM's LONG GONE FROM THERE , A DRUGGIE NOW RUNS THE PLACE

Isn't it available from Moss or Vicky Brit. ? . or are you trying to match up what you need before laying out $$ ? .

I know a good rebuilder in No. Ho. if you have a dead one .

Nate,

Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out.

Yes, I'm looking for something to fit with the least amount of modification and saving money is a good thing too.

I've been stalled on the project for the last few months, but I'll get back on it!
