Lockheed brakes

Post by Robb »

Does anybody have old Lockheed brake parts around? My master cylinder has the wrong check valve that probably never worked properly. It has a 1 1/4" bore, but I believe that the check valve is the same in the 1" master cylinders used in TCs and the like.

If not, hopefully somebody will have such at the Queen's English swap next week. I'm planning on being there.

I may have a spare TC check valve somewhere. If I can find one, I will bring it to Woodley Park.

Steve,

Thanks for the offer.

After I posted that inquiry, it occurred to me that Moss Motors should carry that. I checked, and if I'm looking at the right part, it's only $1.50. I've been waiting to order several other small parts, so I went ahead and ordered.

I'll know by next weekend if it's the right part to fit the rubber parts that I got in the rebuild kit.
