A friend recently suggested that I go to a 12-step program for gauges...

I don't feel six is too many, I used to have 5, but the dual gauge kept breaking so I put in an Oil and temperature gauge.

I do not see a problem with the number of gauges you have in your BugEye as you have a total of 8 and a total of 8 switches on the dash and it all looks good.
I think your friend is just jealous and has gauge envy... :jester

I think you need to take care of the toggle switch disorder before taking on the gauge obsession. :jester

Looks nice, actually! Reminds me a bit of a friend's MG TC. He has every possible gauge you can fit to a car installed in that thing - even gearbox oil temperature!

Apparently I'm afflicted with the same disorder, though I feel perfectly healthy and normal. :)
Seriously, I think your Bugeye looks great!
