valve collets

Post by Robb »

Guys,

Does anybody know where to get the collars or collets that wedge the spring cap to the valve stem for small valves? The stems are just under 1/4", the collets are 1/4" tall and under 3/8" diameter. These should be the same as a lot of early British cars, but smaller than on post war MGs and the like.

None of the big suppliers (Moss, etc) have them? You could try a machine shop that does head jobs, or even try Sean at Flowspeed.
