Looking for info on different engines for a TR-3

I am thinking about putting a larger engine, either a later model 4 cylinder or a V-6 in my TR-3A. I'm looking for any information from anyone who has undertaken a change like this.

I'm not sure I would attempt it again, if I had to do it over again. The TR3 is a small car with a narrow wheel base which doesn't lend itself easily to conversions. Besides, a well tuned Triumph motor in such a light car is plenty of fun.
