Car covers

Post by MoPho »

Any recommendations for a place that sells car covers that are small enough to fit an LBC? (Local or web)

Any brand recommendations welcome too?

California Car Cover has covers for just about everything. I have a couple of their products you can check out but they also have sample material in the showroom, which is located in Chatsworth. Moss Motors also sells decent covers but I don't know if anything they have would properly fit an Elan.

I would find a Budge Premier car cover, size 2. These are made of Tyvek and do a great job of reflecting the heat off the cars. They breathe and repel water very well. I have been using them for years. Once they get too thin I buy a new one. The best part is they roll up very small to fit in a LBC! Also they also don't 'lint' as many other covers do. I also have never had one scratch my paint either.

I have seen them on eBay for less than $40 quite often from individuals sellers just trying to unload a cover they no longer need.
