OK, so does anyone know of a mechanic that is willing to go to a remote location (Riverside) on a Saturday to give an MGB an inspection. Or would I be better off taking a day off during the week? Anyway I need a mechanic to give a good visual to tell me what I need to fix on the car. So I can create a true list and start checking them off.
I have new motivation to get this car running. The new fiance would like to drive the car off after the wedding. Thus continuing the long line of LBC enthusiasts to do so.

Re: I need a mobile mechanic
First off, congratulations! As for a mechanic, I as well as many here would be happy to take a look although there are those more knowledgeable about engine diagnosis than me. I wouldn't be able to make it out for at leas a couple weeks anyway. I don't know of a professional mobile British car mechanic unfortunately.
I still think you need that Mark I Midget.

I'm sure Malcolm would be able to help you.
In baseball, running into someone is apparently a "collision".
But doing the same thing in a car somehow makes it an "accident".
