lots of British parts available

I have no interest but if anyone else does Gene olson

Hi guys,
A few days ago James Catalan sent us a copy of a list of parts for
sale from a gentleman in Madisonville, KY. I spoke with the man today
and at this time this is approx. what is left: ( I have deleted what
he told me is gone.)

I have a proposition to make to help us all out. Since I am retired
and I live about six hours away here in the Midwest, and I read some
you want to purchase some of it, but with no one to help ship it to
you, and the fact I could possibly use a FEW items myself, plus I am
someone who hates to see anything destroyed that can be (restored,
re-used, re-cycled) plus the items are definitely a good bargain, I
had an idea:
Perhaps if I could get an idea from any of you what it is that you
want, I might make a trip down there and buy the stuff for you and
then get it shipped your way. I would have to add gas money and then
shipping costs to your place (exactly - no S&H add-ons!:-)) plus a
few bucks for my time. I'm just in the process of thinking out loud -
nothing definite yet - so who would "want a piece of the action"?!
Email me off-line and tell me what you think you'd give for the items
listed below, and perhaps we could work out a deal to satisfy
everyone? (You try to get an estimate of what the cheapest way is to
ship from my home in Berne, Indiana, [south of Ft. Wayne, and six
miles from OHIO] and you can then get an idea of what it might be
worth to you.) I would probably need a downpayment of some kind so as
not to get "hung" with an unwanted item.

If there are enough takers and you are willing to pay for my
expenses, this may work out for everyone involved - maybe!

There is definitely some stuff I would be interested in, but they would weigh a ton. I fear shipping would be the killer. Too bad, there are some great deals in there!
