Memorial Day Reunion Run 2024

It's been far too long, so here it is. The Vintage Motoring Reunion Run...

Memorial Day 2024: Monday, May 27.

Meet at Malibu Colony Plaza located at 23841 West Malibu Road, at the southwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way, approximately 12 miles north / west from where I-10 turns into PCH. We roll-out at 10:00 so come early to kick tires or have some breakfast.

As always, this is an unorganized run and everyone is welcome.

Great getting together again and great first part of the run BUT I lost you at the light somewhere in Westlake and couldn't find you again. I wish you had stopped to wait for those 4 of us that got caught by the light.

Three cars turned off the route at Lynn to go home. You and Stewart followed them instead of making the left. We waited for about 5 minutes on the side of the road before proceeding, figuring you weren't coming back, and might get back on route somewhere and regroup at Mugu Rock.

I went straight at the light like I saw you doing and never found you, but that was my mistake because I had not been following the instructions, so when I found myself on the Ventura freeway going to LA, I just kept going. Sorry I missed the last part of the run and I will look forward to the next one.

Unfortunately my MGB wasn't ready for it this time, and the 2017 Alfa Romeo just isn't vintage enough. I'll try to catch you guys at the next one. Thanks for posting the photos! Looks like it was fun!

The engine in my MGB is being rebuilt and we're waiting for the machinist. I came in the rental car since I knew the route my heart I pulled up the back with the couple in the metropolitan. I love driving these routes, but I mostly come tell me people I know.

It was a lovely run Steve, thank you for putting this together. They have been much missed by me.
