Rover versus Jeep

Post by malcolmr18zoy »

I don't know why Jimmy makes all these derogatory remarks about Ford engines, since he's just bought a new truck with a Ford engine! I believe Cummins is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford!

I guess I have to take that last statement back, as I've just found out that Jimmy's new Dodge is a gasser.

Well, as usual, Malcolm has to eat crow.

It's just too bad he'll never have the balls to actually put his obese and underpowered Discovery up against my by far superior Cherokee in that road race (rage?) that we've discussed for over a year now.

My guess is that he'll try to prolong it until there aren't any running Discoverys left - which should not be too far into the future - and that I'll have sold my Cherokee by then.
In baseball, running into someone is apparently a "collision".
But doing the same thing in a car somehow makes it an "accident".

I guess, by the level of ridiculous claims you make for your Cherokee, you must be feeling really insecure about it's capabilities. Probably with good reason.

We'll see, we'll see. Hopefully. Some day.
At least I had the confidence to drive my new car without the front tow hooks today, so you know I brought the tow strap for you.
