Ok, lets see what occupies your garage (or driveway).
From basket cases to trailer queens, let's see 'em!

Now I know that wasn't nice and it isn't even British.
Here is my 67 Innocenti Mini Cooper taken by minimode on the Memorial Day Run. Much better traction than the Fwy Cruiser!!

1948 MG TC
This is my 1948 MG TC . It is a driver car and is a kick to drive. On the 30th of this month, we will be leaving for Park City, Utah for the MG GOF gathering. It is going to be a hot drive. I suppose Steve Simmons has put air conditioning in His TC.

Air Conditioning in an MG
Steve,
I could put the top down but that would mess up the hair!!
I guess I will have to use the battery driven propeller type air. No recharge needed and the unit was cheap.

I bought a hiking mister at Sport Chalet. It has a water reservoir with a hand pump to build pressure. Then you turn on the nozzle located at the end of a small flexible tube, and you get a refreshing mist wherever you want it. I'm planning to put the reservoir under the dashboard for our trip through the desert coming up. Normally I don't bother, but 120-degree heat in a 1949 M.G. requires a few things the designers in post-war England hadn't considered.

'76 - I've dropped the stock Z-S carb in favor of a single SU HS-6. So far, it seems to be working out pretty well. Performance ~might~ be a little better, but it's really difficult to tell by the seat of the pants. The only measurable performance improvement I can confirm or deny is that I seem to be getting slightly better fuel economy, and the SU has been performing a lot more reliably and consistently for me over long drives on hot days when compared to the stock Z-S.
Then again, towards the end I think something in that Z-S had given up the ghost or was really close to it.
Either way, I'm a much happier camper with the SU hanging off the side of the engine these days.

Maybe we should start a new thread. "Post a picture of your ride on a flat bed"!
Funny thing is, tow drivers always tell me that they get a lot of attention when they are towing a nice old car.
Hopefully your cars will become as reliable as they should be. I bet the Healey will be good as new with that distributor lead repaired. Now get the B there, too! Keep us posted on your progress.

Daily Driver
Here is my daily driver Baby Blue. She was rescued from near death on the streets near my Central LA home. I now have 12,000 miles on the engine I rebuilt and she runs like a spinning top. Never a bad day when I am cruisin' in Baby.
