OBTW :

Stewart , the MGB GT didn't stay on the road at the speeds I drove it so off it went ~ my Metropolitan isn't as fast but I can slap it harder into the corners .

The GT's heater sucked too :P .

The hatch and doors are both on my car now. Replaced some very poorly repaired (by previous owner's body shop) doors, and a smashed rear hatch thanks to an SUV driver on a cell phone.

I didn't save the doors so they're not from my old red car that I know of......

Sure you did! I bought them from you, red paint and all. Had to dig all the leaves out, then converted to pull handles and put them on the car before painting. :)

Y'all must have clogged heater cores or somethin'. My MGB heaters will cook you. Used to drive the convertible in freezing temps with shorts on bottom and a jacket on top.

Whoops ! .

I'm glad to hear i did as i toss out so many good parts no one ever seems to want .

I'm pleased they worked out for you .

MGB's had mouse fart heaters when I rode in them when new ~ I spent much time cleaning the heater matrix but the feeble amount of air my GT blew was never more than lukewarm .

My Met , OTOH , will blow blistering hot air when the engine coolant is under 170° F as is right and proper .

I typically drive it with the driver's side window open in the rain , snow and freezing temps , toes toasty and a nice blast of hot air going past my face and out the window .

Hi All, here's my '69 MGB GT. I've had the pleasure of working on it, and driving it, for a couple of years. Still a lot of work to do! Those seats, by the way, have since been changed out for something a bit more period-correct.

Cheers!

Well was out in the GT6 and decided to take a couple of photos of it while at a friends shop. Made a short video walk around with my phone which I had not done before so here is the link to the clip. Car dose not look all that bad.

Trying out a new toy. You should be able to rotate the view 360 degree's. Best to open in directly in youtube. Firefox seems to work the best for me which is a bit strange. Uploaded in 4k

Put your mouse over the player on the screen and hold the left button down while moving your mouse to the direction you want to see in.

Also there should be a white circle up on the upper left side of the picture where you can click on arrows to move the picture. If it look like a normal video and not all stretched out it should be working

Another one same route different car and a semi was nice enough to let me use a little bit of my lane at 10:15

THANK YOU ! .

It works *perfectly* .

I've had Semis run me right off the road by coming around a blind curve completely in my lane , one time in a Convertible I still don't know how I survived  .

Watch this in the YouTube app on your phone. Then spin around slowly and move the phone up and down. Or sit on a desk chair and spin.
