Now there's something you don't see everyday! At least not in the US. Where did you find it?

Re: Rover P6B
I bought this from a guy in Georgia who collects old Land Rovers and got this in a container of 4 vehicles. This was not his 'cuppa' tea, so he reached out to different people who might be interested. A mutual acqaintance connected us. The car was ground up restored by the 10th owner between 1988 and 1991. The car is completely original with the exception of later Rover SDI wheels and 5 speed transmission. The car needed sorting from sitting for a period of time, but, now is really a nice driver. I'm looking forward to joining the next driving outing and meeting other Vintage Motoring folks.

Didn't the rocket also have a car mounted in the nose cone.....
.....
I like the MGB GT as it is the more affordable vehicle for at least me as it is within my reach financially.
Nice car and photo and video's Stewart.

Re: Post a picture of your ride!
Hi All,
Well here are a couple of photos of my new to me 1974 Triumph TR6. It was built in Oct. 1973 and first titled in Feb. 1974. I am the third owner/caretaker of this vehicle. I have actually have known the previous owner for about twenty years, but did not know that he had a British car in his collection of vehicles, so I was very surprised to find it here locally at the CCBCC car show this past July. It only had 53947 miles on the odometer the day I acquired it and it is documented by service records. I was also told that the hardtop has only been off the car twice in its history and the soft top has never been installed and it was in the boot/trunk still when I acquired the vehicle still folded up from the factory. It will have to be replaced as it has taken a set from being stored in the boot until I removed it once I had the auto home. It even has the original Red Line 185 x 15 tire in the boot and it still holds air, it is one of the things that I need to replace as it is 45 years old and I would not trust it. So far I have replaced all the brake system rubber components and numerous other rubber parts that were dried out and brittle from age so it is a work in progress. So far I have driven it just under a thousand miles and it runs like a top for a forty-five-year-old auto and is a lot easier to get into and out of for me, hopefully, it will provide a lot of enjoyment while in my care. As for my GT6, it now resides in Montana with it's the new owner who is enjoying it a lot from the conversations we have had over the last three months as he purchased it at the July car show and drove it home that following weekend. He even has sent me a photo of his wife next to the GT6 on one of their outings so all is good.

That looks like a nice clean ride. The GT6 looks pretty happy in its new home, too!

Very nice Martin ! .
A friend of mine just had his house burn down and his powder blue TR6 was parked next to it and got some heat damage so he's selling it on .
