Welcome on board Dave. I had a hunch that was you asking obscure questions about TR3 lubricants. Your Peerless GT looks stunning!

That is one nice looking Peerless GT you have their.
Another member of the forum (Dean) is restoring one or should I say re-creating it from what most people would have run from and doing a very nice job of saving the car and will most likely be talking to you very soon I would suspect.

Did not see Deans post when I posted my post as I was just looking at the photo you posted of your Peerless GT.

Make that "another" Peerless, Steve. I believe we now have 1% of the surviving Peerless GT's as part of this forum! Impressive. :D

Love the Peerless, Dave! It looks like a nice example of a phase I model.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. The Peerless just needs some TLC and $ but that's all. I had the great pleasure of meeting Dean today and his stable of beautiful machines. A friendlier more helpful enthusiast I cannot imagine.

I can report back that the Peerless is in very good hands.

We kicked around bring both his finished car and my rolling chassis to Woodley. Might be a fun display.

If you need anything just shout. Thanks again for the kind words,

Dean

Hi Dave C; I used to own Deans Peerless GT and have liked them for many years. I tried to buy one back in the 70's. Dean is entrusting me with his Peerless shortly to complete the great work he has done so far. If we can help you out with the car don't hesitate to call.
Cheers, Dave

I've always had a hankering for a Z3 coupe. They remind me of a modern MGB GT. The convertibles are pretty nice too. I actually like the Z3 better than the Z4 from a styling standpoint.

I'm new to Vintage Motoring and the '67 MG is a driver and that is how we plan to use it. It is not a show car.

Well, I will try to post some photos of a few of my rides.

First is a 69 MG B-GT that was picked up from the LA area for $300. Needless to say it needed a little bit of work. This is what she looked like when the tow truck dropped her off. She came with a few boxes of things and I am still trying to figure out what year many of the parts are from.
Image

This is her on the road, but still needing a bunch of sorting.

The Midget as found in a field

The Midget slowly being transformed

This is the sprite.....I think she needs a little love.
Image

My 68 Camaro. I have owned her since 1989. She is beat to hell but she still is nice enough in a ratty way that I do not want to rip her apart.

This is the 55 Fairlane. I will post build photos when I get a chance in the restoration section. My plan for this one is to repair as it is being driven, so I am not doing a full restoration. This is fairly stock, but the previous owner hacked the wire harness out and replaced all the wires with unlabled red wires. They also did a terrible job shaving the handles, locks and emblems. I am taking my time repairing the worst repairs. She looked fairly rust free, but I did cut out old patches that were terribly done and replaced with better fitting patches that were butt welded in.

And this is the 911. She has been in the family for most of her life. She is right at 300,000 miles and is still a charm to drive.

Okey dokey, here's the UK fleet.

2002 MG ZR 1.8. These models never made it across the pond, which is a bit of a shame because they're quite good.

This is the daily driver, a 1971 MGB GT. It will look quite a bit different when it comes out of the body shop.

And the TA, affectionately called Numbum.

Um ;

Did I post pix here ? .

My truck , an unrestored 1969 Chevy C/10 base model with the 256 CID I6 engine and TH350 tranny ~ it gets up and down those back roads far better than most think ~ slow on the freeway due to low gearing as it's a work truck .

Hi Nate,

That is very cool work truck.
It has been a long time since I have seen an external spare mounted in the rear fender that way. Probable fairly rare and hard to find today.
