Digital Paintings

I thought I would share a few "paintings" I created from source photos. It's fun to take an image and see what else I can create from it.

This is my TC at Mount Hood, Oregon.

This one shows several T-Series MGs taking on a local mountain road. (I'm not entirely happy with this one yet)

Here is a panorama I created as an alternate version of the first one.

This was originally a photo my wife took from a moving car, and it was blurry. Three MG T-Types coming through a tunnel.

This was sent to me by a friend, who inspired me to start this little hobby.

I'm using various Photoshop filters. The first image is my favorite, and it's the only one I didn't write down the values for. I tried to duplicate it for hours and never could figure it out. Mostly it's trial and error because I'm a bit of a Photoshop wimp.

Thanks. I would be a total newbie with Photoshop, but it looks like fun. My sister offered to give me her old version and I think I have to call her right away!!

We are going to go on a trip later this month from Salt Lake City to Sun Valley to Missoula, Montana (where I was born) to Glacier and across the Rockies on the Going To The Sun Road to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole and finally back to SLC for the non-stop flight home to Santa Barbara. You can bet we will have some great pics to play with on Photoshop and I can see inserting my Mini or other cars into the foreground as my sister did with a UFO in a picture we sent her from a trip to Yosemite.

Have fun. I think I will too.

When are you going to SLC? I will also be there later this month! Well, Park City actually. GoF West is there in the beginning of July. If you like pre-war M.G.s, you won't want to miss it.

Steve. Let me send you a PM on the dates. Sounds like you'll be having a good time too.
