Beverly Hills Fathers Day Car Show 2007

Post by healeygal »

Went to the Rodeo Drive car show Sunday, father's Day - only took about a dozen pictures. I'm trying to figure out how to post them several all at once, for anybody that's interested, but it is kind of confusing to me, so here's a "practice post" with three of the shots.

Ooooh! Talbot Lago! One of my favorites. I wish they made a million of them so they would be more available to the average person today.

I've never heard of a Vision before. Interesting. Thanks for posting those!

The info card they were handing out says its the Vision SZR, all American designed, engineered and manufactured; aerospace grade composites, built to order for each client. Headquarters are on Venice Blvd in Mar Vista! The Chief Operations Officer used to be with Vector, which is a car I remember seeing at the auto shows when I'd go with my brother back in the 80's. The designer would be there with the car, and I noticed he always had a very intense, slightly stressed out look about him - guess that's how it is in the custom, made-to-order car business!

Anyway, website for the vision is www.visionk2.com

Oh, and here's a picture of an equally beautiful, but less high-tech classic -
