They look like they are built very well and can take a licking and keep on ticking as they say.

They are probably doing 25- 40 mph.Wounder how fast they actually get up too.
The world record for a human powered vehicle (bicycle in a faring, no pace car ahead) 89.58 mph.
my TC can't go that fast

Having been involved in a multiple vehicle crash on more conventional bicycles, it looks like they fared well.
Road rash hurts. Worse was the other guy who got a chainring in his face.

One time while riding a tandem, I ran over a guy on a single. I bet that hurt.
