Thanks for the reminder! This is always a great show, and I plan to attend. As has been the case for the last couple of years, my MGB will be in the parking lot. Someday it'll be nice enough to display on the field!
We had a small caravan - two MGAs and a Lotus Europa. My drive home was remarkable. Beautiful weather, great roads, and I hammered up Potrero with a Bugatti Type 35. Only in So Cal does this happen.

After that I fell into a long line of 356 Porsches through Hidden Valley which was kind of fun except they always scare me in the twisties. Maybe the whole bathtub body style idea was so you can't tell if the car spun 180 or not.
What a wonderful day. Nice people good cars. We did have about half to 2/3 of the number of cars that are usually there, that made it easier to see all the cars. It was slightly overcast and about 75° small breeze. Steve and Dean showed up with their cars in the parking lot and didn't stay the whole time.
If you picked the Lotus 62 you could sell it and buy all the other cars. It was a stunning one of one automobile with incredible provenance and a very gracious owner. I was shocked to see a Goodwood level car on the Channel Island lawn. My favorite of the day and anything that Dave Welwood touched.
