2017 Memorial Day Run

This Monday, May 29, is our annual Memorial Day Run so come join your friends (and make a few new ones). This "fun run" tours a variety of scenic roads ranging from canyons to country back roads. The route is perfect for classic cars of all types.

We will meet at the Malibu Colony Plaza located at 23841 West Malibu Road, at the southwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way, approximately 12 miles north / west from where I-10 turns into PCH. We roll-out at 9:30 so come early to kick some tires or have some breakfast.

As always, this is an unorganized run and everyone is welcome.

Rumor has it that there will be route sheets at the start of the run.

I had a wonderful time. I got to have a "discussion" with a CHP officer about parking at the rock store overlook. Apparently there is no parking there even though there are no signs. He said there is a sign down the road around the bend just as you come up the road.

Otherwise, the weather was amazing the roads were beautiful, and people actually pulled over and let us by. It was amazing!

I don't know what Larry did to the exhaust, but it sounds wonderful. Especially when he went through the tunnel on Mulholland.

Nate, nice to meet you at last. I was confused by the presence of the other Nash Metropolitan.

Tanny, let start a petition for driving enthusiast rights in LA County. What problem were they fixing?

Must get Europa brake overhaul finished and get it ready for 4th of July.
