My favorite picture of the MG came from this guy, but apparently he's closing up and moving to North Carolina.

I like this photo he took of me and my son Patrick driving my old 1971 MGBGT. I don’t think he ever took as good a picture of my 1967 MGBGT.

I seem to remember there was also a pretty cool picture of Nate in his Metropolitan.

It was fun looking at the photos after our holiday runs, but on the bright side there will be one less reason for people to hot rod around that turn. And no more bright flashes in dark corners. I guess I'm on the fence about it.

I wonder if that copycat guy is still out there. Maybe he'll move to the rock store hill now that the first guy is gone.

The last time I was up there, they wouldn't allow anyone to park anywhere else other than the overlook "spot" so they may have eliminated the desire for any person to take photos of cars and bikes around that corner. Only place to set up camp would be to park in the designated spot unless a cop figures there is some obscure reason why someone couldn't stay there for more than a few minutes.

When I drove through there a month or so ago, CHP officer was stopping many late model cars who sounded modified and checked under their hoods. I figure they will harass the people they think are possible trouble makers to force them elsewhere.
