Muffler Service

Post by Martin Keller »

Hi All,

I normally do not post places to have things done on cars unless I have personally used the company and there services.
I recently needed my exhaust system replaced and took my GT6 to Kenz Muffler in Oxnard, Ca. who made a new exhaust for the car. They made it from scratch as I wanted it to be tucked up under the car better than the old system that I had for the past five years and actually charged me less that buying a system that I would have had to install myself. The old system would rub on some speed bumps and the occasional driveway when going over them which always anointed me. The new exhaust system now clears speed bumps and driveways when going over them and sure sounds a lot better and looks a lot better in my belief so if you need exhaust repair or work you might consider using Kenz’s as they are craftsman and do a great job for a very fare price.
Attached is a photo of the new system and old system.

Good to know. The good exhaust shops are getting fewer and fewer.

Nice! Kenz fabricated an exhaust system in my Nova about 30 years ago and it's still in use, though I've since replaced the mufflers. Good to hear they're still around and providing good service.

As mentioned, old timey shops that will do the mandrel bending to your specification are getting harder to find .

I use Advance Muffler in Pasadena in Walnut East of Lake Av. .

Kirk's been doing it forever and is a bit of a nutter but always does whatever I ask no matter how odd or foolish he thinks it is .

Also very affordable .

Went to kenz this morning for some exhaust work and was in and out fast and the work looks great at a reasonable price. One of the cleaner shops I've seen as well.
