I've had good luck at West Valley Machine Shop for a couple small things. He just skimmed the head on the Morris for me a while back for $70. He's a one man shop on Deering Ave in Chatsworth. Right behind Checkered Flag.

I also just had a full head job done at Martin Davidson's Automotive in Reseda. Their work is excellent with good attention to detail. Not cheap but worth the cost if you want top notch work.
