I assumed it wasn't happening and I have a family thing that morning. Rats. Might be able to make the start and peel off.

Monday, May 31, is our annual Memorial Day Run so come join your friends (and make a few new ones). This "fun run" tours a variety of scenic roads ranging from canyons to country back roads. The route is perfect for classic cars of all types.

We will meet at the Malibu Colony Plaza located at 23841 West Malibu Road, at the southwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way, approximately 12 miles north / west from where I-10 turns into PCH. We roll-out at 10:00 so come early to kick tires or have some breakfast.

As always, this is an unorganized run and everyone is welcome.

Rumor has it that there will be route sheets at the start of the run.

Had a good time. What a nice group of people. I’ll upload some photos later. In the meantime if you have Facebook you can look at them here.

I did something different with the instructions this time. I noticed a lot of instructions could be reduced to at the stop sign turn right, at the light turn left. The only exception is the turn from Las Virgenes to Mulholland which was at the third light. Everything else was one light or stop sign away. I put those in the instructions along with the usual mileage. I then went and asked a number of people how they liked the instructions and only one person said they liked them. The rest of the people said that they just follow the car in front of them. Sigh, all that work.

I had a wonderful time.

You didn't ask me .

Demarkis loved your new instructions, I want him to learn how to navigate .

The larger font made them much faster to read too .

Thanx to all whom came out! .

I was super busy with work all weekend, and had a family function to get to that morning, so I literally forgot to come out to the start to say hello. I didn't remember until lunchtime when the wife asked me if there was a run that day.

No Facebook access so no photos for me.

Sorry I had to miss it, was busy sorting out an engine swap for a friend's Mini. Will be building his car up and putting his trick 155hp supercharged motor into his car.

I have an acquaintance from the snowball rally that did that to his mini. He’ll tell you from experience that the 6 gallon gas tank isn’t enough. Your friend might want to have the two gas tanks plus a gas tank inside the spare tire well. And I can tell you from experience following him it is really fast.

This motor is fuel injected with a 9 gallon tank going in. It may need a spare tank, but the owner isn't into long trips so will see if he needs more range or not.
