Re: 2021 Labor Day Run
Let’s get together on Labor Day to celebrate the unofficial last day of summer.
When: Monday, September 6, 2021 (meet at 9:00 AM, rollout at 9:30 AM)
Where: Malibu Colony Plaza, 23841 West Malibu Road (southwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way)
When: Monday, September 6, 2021 (meet at 9:00 AM, rollout at 9:30 AM)

- This is a “fun run”, not an organized event. We are just a group of like-minded classic car Run enthusiasts out driving the same roads. There is no official leader nor any car club or business affiliation. As such please keep in mind that everyone is responsible for themselves!
- Drive safely and responsibly at all times. Leave your ego at home.
- If you leave the route, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE signal others so they don’t follow you!
- Try to position yourself within the group based on your driving style - slower drivers toward the rear, faster drivers up front. If you are unsure of your driving preferences compared to other drivers, start near the tail of the group and go from there.
- We stop to regroup periodically so don’t worry about being left behind. If possible, wait for the car behind you to catch up before turning so no one gets lost.
- If you find yourself lagging behind and holding up others, don’t push it. Just wait for a safe place to pull aside and let them pass. If you’re being held up, please be patient with the driver ahead.

Re: 2021 Labor Day anyone?
I did a pre-run today and the route is completely open. I had to bypass the snake on Mulholland because they closed it, but I had already planned for that. It’s a great run. We’re going to be going on Latigo Canyon Rd., Kanan Dume, Mulholland, Stunt, Tuna Canyon, and more.
Optionally we’re going to eat at Rib Ranch on Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
I hope to see some of you there on Monday.

Re: 2021 Labor Day anyone?
Only two people showed up. We had a fun time anyway.
I was driving up Los Flores and suddenly heard what sounded like a really loud exhaust. I looked around and didn’t see anything, stopped and asked Riley if that was his car and he said it wasn’t. I started up again and it sounded like a helicopter and I instantly realized I had a flat tire.
Luckily we had a safe area to change the tire. Riley manned the Jack (thank you) and I replaced the tire with my spare. It looked a little low and when I finally checked the spare it only had 14 pounds of air in it. It’s been in the back of the car a long time. A good reminder to check your spare tire. I added air when I got home. I looked at the tire and it looks like I got a nail.
Don went home and Riley and I had lunch at Rib Ranch on Topanga. We talked a very long time and Riley was a good sport and let me blabber on a lot.
I got home our little dog climbed in the car and wanted to go for a ride.
