Anyone have recommendations for tires for my MGA?
Mine appear to be in good shape, but are oooooooold.
Also, anyone have a tire shop out towards Pasadena they could recommend that could be trusted with wire wheels

Re: Tires
Hey Geoff, nice to hear from you. My choice for the MGA is Vredstein Sprint Classic.
Available in standard tread, or in narrow tread to better replicate the original bias-ply look. I went with a 165 width, narrow tread:

Can't help with a tire shop in your area, but any old school shop should have no trouble installing them. Be sure to powder the tubes and check the rim strips.

Re: Tires
Geoff I have had very good experience working with Huntington Tire in Monrovia on Huntington Dr. When I put tires on my MGB last I brought them my new wheels and tires and had them mount and balance them. They had the talent and adapters to deal with the wire wheels. Been going there for 20 plus years now, one of the only places I would trust working on my cars.

Re: Tires
I'll second the recommendation for the Vredstein Sprint Classic's. Have a set on my volvo and am quite happy with them.
