Real Hardware Stores

Anyone have a recommendation for a "real" hardware store where you can buy quality fittings? Here are my usual go-to places but I'd love to see where others frequent.

Allen Bolt & Industrial Supply

Industrial Bolt and Supply Ventura.

Also agree with True Value in Simi, not the cheapest but they have a very large selection if you only need a few or a specific item.

Now that Tractor Supply opened in Simi Valley, it's another place for a decent selection of hardware, and it's better than the cheap Crown Bolt junk that Osh and Home Depot sell. You have to go a grade higher with that cheap Chinese stuff just to get the strength you want.

T.T.T. for any newbies .

Good hardware is getting tough to find ~ I've been scavenging good OEM hardware since the 1960's, I de rust it and check threads etc. then use it at a prodigious rate, much of it is unobtanium .
