Weber Tuning Expert

Post by HealeyBN7 »

Now that the Lotus is running, I might want to splurge on expert Weber tuning. It might be close as is, but it would also be nice to have t fully dialed in.

Once I get a few more bugs out of the system, I could be ready for a recommendation. Does anyone know a DCOE expert in the local So. Cal area?

Having someone who could show up at the house would be ideal!

Dean
PS. Steve we started to chat about this at Super Car Sunday, but I was pulled away by the boss to get a blueberry muffin, before I heard any names:)

Yeah, I know of a mobile guy who is supposed to be very good, if not a bit grouchy. A lot of local racers use him. I'd be interested in splitting a session if the timing is right. I'll see if I can find his info in the meantime.

Me three if I have a car to put the engine in! Just got a set of twin 40 DCOE for the Hartwell.

Steve,

Thanks for hunting this down. I know you have your hands full, but I think I am about at the point of needing his service.

I tried a couple different ignition maps, but I am still short of the full potential - I suspect that the carbs need to be tuned next.

Thanks again,

Dean

Please elaborate! I'd really love someone who knows Webers to look at my GTS.
