WANTED: Custom body work.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop that would do custom paint work? I want to build a budget to do a custom valance on the front of my B.

Probably one of the finest shops on the West Coast is Classic Vision Restoration in Burbank. The owner worked for the Nethercutt collection and Hill & Vaughn. His finished cars regularly win concours shows including several wins at Pebble Beach. He can do anything.

Holy Moley! I'd almost be ashamed to ask for some partial paint work from Guillermo. The paint on mine looks nice but up close it you can tell that the prep work was less than mediocre (pin holes, a little orange peel, touch ups etc...)

Just remembered a place that I accidentally wound up at...I was looking for a machine shop on the same street this joint. http://www.carrera6.net
I know it's a Porsche shop, but there was a classic mini there that was getting paint. The owner seems to have a heavy painting background. I know it's a bit out of your way, but I'll report on what I find at both shops.
