upholstery shop for top install

Post by Stewart »

Anyone know a good upholstery shop within a reasonable distance of Pasadena. I need to have a pack away top installed.

Somewhere, earlier, on this Vendor Recommendation is the info for a shop in Ventura that does great work. I'll be taking a second MGB there pretty soon.
Is Ventura "reasonable"? Heck, it beats going to anywhere east of L.A.
Or, as Steve would put it, south of L.A., now that he moved "north".
In baseball, running into someone is apparently a "collision".
But doing the same thing in a car somehow makes it an "accident".

There is a shop near my work, at the corner of Hill and Colorado, that always seems to be doing some installs on nice cars. Old Mercedes, Porsche 356, etc.

No personal experience with them, but I've seen them working, and the cars they work on, and they'd be worth talking to.

When I travel, I tend to pick places to eat that look filled with locals. I'm using the same theory for this recommendation. ;)
