Radiator Shop Recommendations?

Post by Steve Simmons »

Any recommendations for a quality radiator shop that is experienced with antique radiators? I'll consider anything within 75 miles of the LA area.

I've used a couple locally with mediocre results. Mattsons is great but they're slow, expensive and a long way down the 405. So... looking for new alternatives.

Recently ran into these guys at a show said they work with all cars although most clients are domestic car owners. http://www.calwest-radiators.com/

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to call and ask any question you have.. :)

Steve knows my choice on this one, but for the rest of you, Harry and Son's in Rosemead, CA. As old school a radiator shop as there ever was. These guys just keep watching their competition close as the industry moves away from radiators made of metal. They can do work other shops didn't know could be done. Want to see their work? Go visit the Nethercutt Collection, the Smithsonian, or just about any major old car collection in the nation.
