Wheel Paint

Post by Nunyas »

Not so much of a Vendor recommendation, as this is a product recommendation. Not interest involved here other than wanting to spread happy feelings. If you're wanting to paint your own wheels with rattle cans, I highly recommend "Dupli-Color High Performance Wheel Paint".

I've done 2 of 4 wheels (so far) with their paint and primer and can't possibly be happier with the results :)

I've had excellent results with their engine paints as well. Who woulda thunk it? Far better than the Moss stuff. Perhaps the same can be said for their wheel paint.

they do have a metallic silver wheel paint. However, I think it may have too much "metallic" in it for it to look "authentic" for our cars. Also, if you're painting a Rostyle wheel, I would skip the clear coat, because it would make the wheel too shiny and not look "right", IMO.
