My dad picked up a door ding from hell on the drivers side rear door of his car.

The shop I worked at had some done while I was there. I have dons some easy stuff myself with good results. The sooner the repair is done after the damage the better. Otherwise the paint cracks and the metal takes on a new memory. If the dent is accessible from the inside you can sometimes just press it out with your thumb.Stewart wrote:Anyone tried it with good results and know of a good shop?

I had it done at a car wash once with my MINI. Couldn't tell there were any dents at all. They were pretty small ones with no paint damage. To this day I have no idea how they got there.

There was a thumb sized depression near the front of the hood of my last Porsche when I purchased it. The local guy removed it perfectly. After a few months, the stress in the sheetmetal caused a new depression to form a couple of inches away from the original location. I left it!
