I wanted to have the exhaust on my old 71 ceramic coated, but never got around to it. From what I've read it's important to have the exhaust coated inside and out and Jet Hot does that.

These guys in Fresno were also recommended.

Malcolm told me that he has concerns about coating an old exhaust because of impurities in the metal. Maybe Malcolm can elaborate.

I use Extreme Coatings in Oxnard. 805 485-2667. Good product and service. I have had no issues on manifolds even from the 1950's.

I've only used Jet Hot, and no problems other than slight staining over time.

Dave, does your place do aluminizing? Seems to be a lost art.

+1 on Extreme Coatings.

Did my combo dual Weber Imp manifold for $60.

Did a great job on my friend's 911 headers for $300.

Cheers,
Mark
