Talented mechanic to sort my Velocette

Is Malcolm still on here? Still working?

I'd like a mechanic to gove my 1954 Velocette LE a thorough lookover. I'm not looking for a resoration, per se, but I'd like the mechanical and electrical system to be looked at in detail and I'd like it to be as reliable as a 53 year old bike could be. It has runa nd been driven in the last few years, but not regularly as it's never started reliably and thus I was cautious to drive it much.

With my new business, I'm at loss for time to tinker, and my skill are weak anyway. Any recommendations? Near the San Gabriel valley is a plus, but I'll take her anywhere.

I don't doubt that Dean has the skills. He'd probably end up building a more or less from scratch frame and body, while fixing all the symetric issues.

No, not yet. I opened a store (handmade popsicles made from whole fruit and all natural ingredients) in June, and it was a very successful launch, but that has meant very little free time!

Things are slowing down now, so it's moving closer to the top of the to-do list. Any suggestions?
