Today I got my third Robbins top, and Im sure glad I did. Even though it's "only" a lowly vinyl version (the other two are cloth and canvas, respectively) the fit and finish is superb.
I'm not sure why anyone would consider buying anything but a Robbins top. Unless, as in this case, it makes the rest of the car look bad in comparison.
I'm also very pleased with the installation, done at Gold Coast Auto Upholstery in Ventura (805/642-4707). Those guys do great work, and apparently others have noticed as well - there was a freshly painted MGA getting a complete interior done.
What the heck, most of you probably already knew this, right?

In baseball, running into someone is apparently a "collision".
But doing the same thing in a car somehow makes it an "accident".

Good to know. I've never used them. I do use Robbins tops though.

Glad to see your positive experience with the Ventura shop. My dad lives outside Ventura in Oak View and needs a new interior in his 1950 Oldsmobile convertible he is restoring. He's going to go see if they can help.
