Ruh roh... the Seven glass break? If so, I'd bet any glass shop can cut a flat piece of glass, especially if the old one is intact. Sorry I don't know of anyone specifically on your side of the hill. Heck, I don't even know anyone over here anymore.

Re: Custom Windshield Glass
It's been broken for about a year actually, it just finally got to the point where I need to take care of it.
Yeah that's just it, I can't seem to find an autoglass shop at all. All of them that I have called so far are of the mobile show up to your home with a windshield for X make and model, and of course the response is "Caterwhat"?

Maybe a regular glass shop, not an automotive one? Woodland Hills Glass can cut whatever you need, or at least they could ten years ago when a friend of mine worked there. It's a small shop so I bet they could still do it. Then you can come watch World's Fastest Indian afterward.

Perhaps, but would a regular glass shop be able to do the laminated type windscreen glass?Steve Simmons wrote:Maybe a regular glass shop, not an automotive one? I think my window of opportunity for coming up to see WFI has passed

Good point. No idea if they can get that type of glass. Might be worth asking around though.

FYI, my special effects shop could cut you a lexan windshield no problem, much lighter and I know that means a lot for you Lotus chaps.

Mark,
Would the same offer apply to Speedglass?

In baseball, running into someone is apparently a "collision".
But doing the same thing in a car somehow makes it an "accident".
