2-26-2010: Anonymous Users

I have finally conquered a bug in the software that has been bothering me for quite some time. Previously, anonymous users (anyone not logged into the site) were unable to view image attachments. The problem turned out to be not so much of a bug as a duplicate setting, and it has been corrected. Now, anyone who is linked to a discussion thread from elsewhere will be able to see all of the images associated with the discussion without joining the forum first.

As always, please post feedback, good or bad, in this forum (start a new thread for each issue please) so I can keep things working the way everyone likes.

This is because of the Ford guys isn't it? Not that I am complaining of coarse. You do a wonderful job with maintaining this site with everything else that you do.

Hey, what do you mean everything ELSE that I do? No, actually this has been going on for a while - years actually. I've sent people here to see photos and they can't see them, and I've had others tell me the same thing when they send a friend to check something out. Most of the Ford club guys aren't really active online, so they had nothing to do with this project.
