I have a 1972 Triumph TR6 which I just got from the original owner. He bought it new in Santa Monica and it lived in Camarillo all its life. The body is great and rust free. Very straight with a few small dings. Interior panels and seats are good. Carpet and top are bad. Have original tonneau in the boot.
I oiled up the cylinders and let them soak then after a couple of days I spun the engine to get oil pressure. Then some fuel and new plugs and the engine fired instantly. It runs very well at 60lbs oil pressure and has no noises or smoke!! It should be great! It has dual Webers instead of the Strombergs. Car not driven since 2003.
All instruments are working.
The front of the left floor pan was rusty from sitting out for a while and we replaced it with a new one, properly welded in.
This is a great project car. Color is Sienna and it has had one repaint but is checked and faded. Goes on ebay this week. Have title.
I always put them here first!!
$4500.
Cheers, Dave
