1961 Morris Minor Travellers Car

Post by maurice »

PPG Deltron 'Evergreen' / Golden Oak Stain / Light Tan Interior
Paint, wood, and interior in as new condition (car cover always)
26,756 miles since completion, not driven in desert summers

A nut and bolt recreation to my ideal and high standard, 1991 - 1999
Professional body and paint, wood, interior, engine, transmission
My investment is over $36,000, I have receipts for about $30,000 plus the original purchase price
Appraised at $25,000, ACV insurance for that amount
Body and paint (Jeff Witt) and interior (Glenn Block) costs exceeded $14,000
The body was taken to bare metal before metal work, sealing, and single stage paint
The wood was assembled and finished (spar varnish) by cabinet maker David Bernardi
2 firsts, 1 second, I best of show (3 shows entered, 2 were for British vehicles only)

The engine compartment and underside of the hood are finished to a high standard

Added disk brakes, anti sway bar, tube rear shocks, LCB header and twin box exhaust
New rack and pinion, torsion bars, rear springs, radiator, fuel pump, 14 x 4,5 van wheels,165SR14
New fenders, floors, sills, bumpers, door handles, glove boxes, chrome, lamps, speedometer, lamps
Whatever was needed was done, virtually no expense was spared

1098 + 030, 12g295, Ivey, Howley, HS4, Maniflow, Crane, Kent, ACL, APT, ARP,
gas flowed head, balanced, David Vizard modifications, ( Bruce Mueller at B+B Engines)

Ribcase Transmission (Riverside Motors)
4.22 (installed) and 4.55 final drives

<<< THE ENGINE HAS A BROKEN CRANKSHAFT, PEARHAPS OTHER DAMAGE AS WELL >>>

The windshield has a stone chip and a crack about 6" in length
The left sill cover has a paint chip, seen when the door is open

Health problems prevent me from an R+R on the engine
Further information and photos on your request

$14,000 cash sale, sold as is
California title, located in Palm Springs
Your inspection is recommended, you will not be disappointed
