SOLD 3-Main 1800 MGB Engine

Post by Steve Simmons »

I have just about enough parts here to build a complete long block 3-main 1800. I'm still going through and sorting everything, but I have at least most of it including the most important parts - crank, block, rods, and head. I have roughly $400 into everything, so that amount would take it all home, or make an offer and see what happens.

Included parts:
Block, appears to be stock bores
Correct 12H906 head dated 1963 with valves and springs
Freshly ground crank at 20/10
Brand new camshaft wrapped in paper dated 1977
Extra camshaft (used)
Resized and balanced rods (4)
Second set of rods, appear to have been machined and balanced also
Brand new pistons and pins
New cam bearings (old stock)
Original B&B English-made clutch assembly in great condition
Two timing covers with both types of front seal arrangements
Multiple tach drive mechanisms and housings
Multiple distributor drives
Two sets of timing gears and chains
Starter, appears to be in excellent rebuilt condition
Side covers / breathers
Correct early valve cover
Original Mowog water pump
Head bolts
Push rods
Two front engine plates
Two oil filter heads with canister assemblies
Two crank pullies, one standard and one harmonic balancer
Oil bypass pipe
Two extra sets of main bearing caps
Oil pan (has dent in front like most do, easily fixed)
Generator bracket and standoffs
Various small bits and whatever else I've forgotten.

you didn't list labor, so that actually seems like a pretty solid deal.
