I decided to do a quick diagnostic head pull on my '65 MGB. It's turned into a complete engine rebuild with supercharger, flowed head and other go-fast (but period correct) goodies. It's also turned into a gearbox rebuild and overdrive conversion, painting the engine bay, replacing the steel bonnet with a correct aluminum one (and paint it), rebuild brake and clutch systems, rebuild steering rack, remove entire front cross member and paint / rebuild entire front suspension, king pins and steering, partial wiring harness replacement and lots of other stuff I can't remember.
Here are a few photos I've taken along the way...

Re: What's Your Latest Project?
Steve, you've done a lot of nice work on your '65 B. Do you have an ETA on it being back on the road?

Re: What's Your Latest Project?
Thanks. My best estimate is 3 months from the time I started, which puts it on the road about 2 years ago.
The engine is done but I still haven't painted the engine bay and all my project funds are tied up in other areas. So... it may be a while yet unless anyone wants to strip and paint an MGB engine bay for free.
