Here is an update. Cutting it close for the show but what is new.
Actually was able to drive the GT6 today over to another garage so the interior guy did not have to keep going back and forth from his shop to the paint shop. Boy oh boy was it tempting to just go for a ride around the block but I did not want to chip any of the paint as the doors and rear hatch have no seals in places as of yet so they would have bumped and rattled and most likely chipped the new paint.
Here is a photo of me and the car pulling out of the shop to go across the street to the interior guys garage.

Well the headliner and carpet and door and interior and windows are now in. Just need to put the seats in and detail the car for the CCBCC Car Show. Tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun and a lot of work but it will be at the show one way or another.

Looks brilliant. Can't wait to see it at the show and on the road.

Well for all of you that did not get a chance to come to the CCBCC Car Show I did get my car to the show missing a couple of things like windshield wipers and washer nozzles and some window rubber trim but for the most part my GT6 is almost complete as a driver.
Here is what it looked like just six weeks ago.

VERY Nice Martin ! .
Glad you decided to repair and re chrome the bumpers , satin finish black would have looked cheap & nasty .
Going red under the bonnet was wise too , this whole short time project looks mighty fine to me .
Who did the paint ? .

As for the bumpers you are correct and I figured what the heck and besides I found a place called the Bumper Connection that was very reasonable and decided to have the bumpers re-chromed after seeing how nice the painting was coming out.
The paint work was done by Steve Freedman and my self I did some of the prep work and he did the spraying of the top coat for me as time was running out for my deadline to make the CCBCC show. I am very happy with how it turned out as Steve did a great job for me and without his help my GT6 would not have come out looking as good as it has so I am very happy. I have know Steve for over twenty yrs now and I am always amazed at the work he dose especially on short notice.
Here is Steve Friedman's contact info:
1-805-650-9752 (work phone)
If you call him tell him I gave you his phone number so he knows.
Steve is a good guy and is busy so if he dose not answer the phone leave a message and he will get back to you.
