1914 Chandler Sedan

Post by gorms68 »

With a lot of wonderful help today we got the Chandler sedan to its new home. Started getting dark by the time we got cleaned up and back home so the big inspection will have to wait until the weekend.

Woo-hoo, now the fun can begin!
I noticed that in your request for guesses, nobody stepped up. It looks like one of those fancy Rolls Royces to me.

The wheels are about the right size for a Ghost.

Update

We have been told for several years now about the existence of an old photo of our Chandler Sedan when it was pretty new. I was sent a photo of this photo last night. Here's a comparison of what the car looked like in 1921 and then 93 years later.

I guess we have a lot of work to do.

Well at least we know where the odd wooden box on the back of the car came from. Now you're going to have to buy a bunch of plumbing pipe to make the car original again!

I'm guessing we're looking at his wife, three kids, dog and nosy neighbor.
