Here are two photos of the front suspension of a car.
Can you identify the car from the photos.

OK. Here are a couple of photos of a part that someone might know.
These are not that common even in new cars.

Early model cup holder?

...or, I'm not sure what it's called, but it's a 1920's aftermarket accessory mounted over a hole in the foot well floor, directly ahead of the driver’s seat, that renders human pit stops unnecessary…

Good guess but not correct.... ....

This was something that a lot of drivers used back when this was new.

It also looks like a housing for the plug for trailer electrics.

Mark got it it is actually an astray for a TR-2. It goes in place of the rubber plug that is just behind the shifter.

Trouble light for pre-war MG. My father-in-law bought one just like that for his 1934 MG PA.

Well Chris you know your stuff.

Here is a photo of it in the box with the top. New never used except to see if it still works which it dose.

Definitely looks like two mounts of some sort, but I can't identify what they're for.

Martin. I am impressed. Indeed that is the rear trans mount. Lotus used that mount on all the Renault engined cars. It is an odd double headed monster that slides into a bracket. It is one single mount - not two side by side.

You can see that it is torn. New mounts are available for $180.00. I hate to be a cheapskate, but for that much money it should have a touch screen and at least two moving parts. Might need to fabricate a replacement with removable bushings.

Who's next?

Dean. Call me as I have a rubber mount rebuilder that is reasonable.

Dave, can he do TC gearbox mounts? They are over $100 for a pair new, and most of it is metal so it would be nice to re-use.
