From my end the image is not loading - it says something about enabling 3rd part hosting. Maybe it is just me, but we are planning to attend on Sat

Re: A Celebration for Dave Wellwood
Apparently my free hosting at Photobucket account that I have had for more than 10 years has turned into "no longer sharing for free". They want $399 per year to allow the ability to embed images in a post. All the photo links to several car blogs I had are broken as well. Anyone know of a place where I can host the image for this post? It's a photo that is classic Dave.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: A Celebration for Dave Wellwood
I wondered if that was the case. I noticed several forums with that same 3rd party photo.
I use google photos. If it is small enough you can load it directly to VM.

You should be able to attach it directly to your post using the attachments tab. Sadly, I will be working all day and night on Saturday or I would most certainly be there. I'm glad it's being done though, such a perfect tribute tot he man to hold it at his shop.

Thanks Steve. Has that photo upload feature always been there? It has been a while since I've posted any photos here!

Re: A Celebration for Dave Wellwood
This was another option for the announcement. There were a lot of great photos available.

Oh, those photos are both perfect!
The upload has always been there but it works much easier now than it used to.

Austin took this great photo of Dave as we were driving back from the Woodley Park show this year on his film camera. Classic Dave.

Re: A Celebration for Dave Wellwood
Nice celebration for Dave yesterday. I estimated close to 100 people and 30 vintage cars, mostly British (cars that is). Some fitting tributes spoken and a lot of memories shared. It's still hard to believe. Dave will be missed by many.

Re: A Celebration for Dave Wellwood
I agree Larry. It was a nice celebration and quite moving at times.
Martin counted more than 50 classic cars in the yard and small parking lot out front. Didn't get a chance to see what was parked out on the street. The parking lot across the street had a group of classics as well. Dave would have enjoyed the show.
A few photos from the celebration have been posted on the Central Coast British Car Club's website. Find them on the "Recent Photos" page.
