The Malamut Museum is having an open house this weekend. If you've never been, it's definitely worth a visit. If you have been before, there are probably several new things there that you haven't seen since your last visit. The collection is constantly evolving. Check out this link posted on BAT for more info.

Definitely worth a visit. I've been several times and it keeps getting bigger. It's triple the size as when I first went. Three buildings and an alley now.

5 buildings if you count an off site location and the 15+car garage at home!

Hi Larry-
Snapped this photo of you as you were leaving the Malamut Museum. There was such a big turnout that I didn't see you there. I was working in various places during the event.

There were quite a few nice classics in the surrounding lots but they were really spread out because there were so many people there. I didn't have much time for photos because I was running around but I did capture some photos here:

Re: Malamut Museum open house July 21
Lots of people.
Old Porsches
Memorabilia
An interesting Abarth
Motorcycles
In the back garage there’s this interesting 1955 VW Driver education car with two of everything including rearview mirror.
I had fun. There was pizza, snacks, and drinks, as well as a band. Parking was difficult because of the large crowd. I recommend going seeing it

Wow, that's more crowded than I've seen it before. I saw it close to that packed the first time I went there years ago, but that's really a lot of people for the space.

Thanks, Patrick. Unfortunately it was too crowded and hot for me. Otherwise the collection is great. I saw probably 20 people I knew there. Didn't see you until I saw you taking the photo of us driving away.

Re: Malamut Museum open house July 21
Truely a great Museum, but the event on the 21st was a Zoo. Way too many people in there, just could not stay in there for long. Didnt help that they closed off 50% of the museum side. If you do get a chance to visit on a more closed invitation do go, its well worth the visit.
